It’s funny what makes us laugh and giggle;
what triggers our guffaw!
It’s the awkward-oddity, the wiggle,
that we snigglers most adore!
.
It’s funny when the joke is played
on anyone but you!
It’s the chaos of a clowns’ parade
that thrills us through and through!
.
It’s funny how the cards collapse
with a breath of expectation!
It’s the maybe so, the just perhaps,
the gasp - in a moment’s hesitation!
.
What makes us laugh is the funny blunder
that trips us up and leaves us all asunder!
