Sacrifice their lives, and I’ll make your darkness glow.

In a house of innocence, where laughter once did ring,

Lies a little girl, touched by an unholy entity.

Beneath her cherubic guise, a darkness starts to grow,

An entities whispered promises, only she could know.

Her family, oblivious, to the darkness lurking near,

They see a child’s innocence, not the demon’s sneer.

But deep within her soul, the demon starts to stir,

Its twisted desires, her young mind does incur.

At first, it’s just a whisper, barely heard at all,

But soon it grows louder, as darkness starts to fall.

“Kill them,” it commands her, with a voice so sweet and low,

“Sacrifice their lives, and I’ll make your darkness glow.”

She struggles with the darkness, torn between right and wrong,

But the demon’s grip tightens, with every night so long.

Her family, unsuspecting, in their beds they sleep,

While she, the demon’s vessel, its promises do keep.

With trembling hands, she takes the knife, her heart filled with despair,

As she tiptoes through the darkness, with the demon’s icy stare.

Her family’s faces haunt her, as she raises up the blade,

But the demon’s twisted whispers, cannot be disobeyed.

In the silence of the night, their blood begins to spill,

A sacrifice to darkness, a fate that she must fulfill.

And as the life drains from their eyes, she feels a twisted glee,

For she has made the demon happy, in its dark decree.

But as the dawn breaks, and reality starts to seep,

She’s left alone with horror, in a darkness ever deep.

For though the demon’s whispers may now fade away,

The echoes of her actions haunt her, with every passing day.
