a short poem that I made at three in the morning whilst discussing with some friends the origin of the meme
It is what it is
It is what it is, she said
Whilst ruffling the hair on his head
Sometimes it's better to just live life with ease
As you let yourself get lost in its breeze
The reason why she spoke those words
Was because they were the same she had once heard
Back in the day when she missed her shot
Inside she wept for it was a great loss
Her mother came forth to comfort her
With the same words she had in turn heard
It is what it is, she said
As she ruffled the hairs on her head

Gossamer
"Murray! Wake up!" He loved that period between waking and dreaming. To him, it was like entering another dimension; more of a dreamscape than dreaming itself.
