It Is The Silence That Kills

Heartbreak and Promises

Now it’s just a memory between you and me

Strangers from the start and strangers at the end

Broken promises that lay heavy in our hearts

Our lost connection in every tear fallen

Every thought that passes out minds

Lays to rest the words we’ve spoken

Every kiss and every touch

Embarks on a journey of “what ifs”

Every sound in our minds brings us closer to the closure of unreceived

As strangers, we were once

Now, strangers, we are again

Silence in the empty streets as we pass by

It is he silence that will damage

It is the silence that will kill
