It began with a story.
It always began with a story.
Whether it was a comedy in which the jokes made no sense,
or a drama that pressured its audiences to cry alongside its actors;
all of it
began with a story.
Being a storyteller was the hardest task of all.
It was simple to suggest how an object presented itself,
But upon finding difficulty in attempting tragically perfect a character,
We are left with our eyes bouncing back and forth
Between the ending that we want
And the ending that must be for the individuals,
Whom who perceive as half-fictional.
Life, as I would assume a storyteller would imagine,
Consists of a cycle of conflicts in need of solutions,
And guided by hope and resolve,
Someone
somehow
manages to find a solution.
It’s simple:
Locked door?
Find key.
Broken heart?
Miss me.
It all begins with a story.
And it all ends with a memory.
