Is Your Heart Half Empty or Half Full?
Poetic questions
Is your heart half empty or half full?
Is the cycle cynical or just clinical?
Is palpable better than tangible?
Is it fantastical to believe the fantasy?
Is what's bled red or is it read?
Is this life the reason I'm tired and wired?
is it the lie or the truth that's putrid and fetid?
Is that why I'm so unsettled and stressed
Is my mind half sane or full crazy?
Is the pretence better than the precedent?
Is the fog thick or the air thin?
Is my breathing laboured or overworked?
Is it all of the above or none of the below?

Thanks for reading

I don't know. But I enjoy the musings.

“Is what's bled red or is it read?“ This is so deep omg. A whole poem in a line.
Lots of good questions.
This is great. I'd say half sane AND full crazy.
LOVE THIS. Though if you tailor glass to mood, it could always be full 🤍 Brilliantly structured but now will be mulling over all of the questions. Hello insomnia, my friend 😁
excellent and exactly how I feel about now. love, love it.
This would make a *DOPE* rap. Excellent piece, Paul. Hope you give yourself room to ruminate until the answers to those questions fade in for you.
