“Is the light of a candle reflected in a single star”

Is the light of a candle

Reflected in a single star?

Or does it shine on endlessly

To find its way afar?

Does its glow illuminate

The darkness of the night,

Or is it lost among the stars

In a blaze of cosmic light?

Perhaps it flickers in the wind

Like a beacon in the dark,

Guiding us through life's uncertain paths

With its gentle, warming spark.

For in the light of a candle

We find a simple truth,

That even in the darkest hour

There is still beauty, still youth.

So let us light our candles bright

And watch them dance and glow,

For in their flickering flames we find

The light of hope and love that grows.
