Is the Internet a Blessing or Curse

We smile through screens,

not face to face.

Each home aglow, a wired place

A air-tight roof, the outside lost

exchang dreams at Wi-Fi’s cost

Kids don’t run, they sit and scroll

A pixel fills a growing soul

The streets stay quiet, parks grow dry

The sky replaced with apps to buy

Everyone thinks we’re living our best

Everything's took over,

our life, and our homes.

It is all a mess.

laptops, pc it’s all a learning test.

iPad world of smiles to lure us in.

Yes AI takes over us, and our life,

internet is one big brain washing.

Darkness always follows light

humans summed up in pixels and gigabytes

Children don’t go out and play in the streets

As long as there’s internet, life is up beat

However

Remember there’s modern perverts

along with scammers waiting online.

Internet’s changed the world we’re all blind.

The darkness and AI,

our brains filed and filled.

Along with screen time it’s sending us blind.

Face book, twitter, you tube,

and TikTok now our home

living the life with Google Chrome.

We think we live our very best

as we sit and internet

searching as we roam roam.

Something’s off, the light feels staged

Our hearts are full, brains disengaged

The world was wide, now held in hand

A tap, a swipe, the modern land

We chat with bots, human eyes or tone

Each house now hides a world alone

Darkness creeps where light once stayed

Behind the glass, the smiles fade

The predators now click and lurk

And scams arrive like pop-up work

The internet changed all we knew

It gave us more, but took truth too

Now AI speaks, and few resist

And in this false life this we all exist.

So here we are, this wired race

With false mirrors held to every face

We scroll and post, we share and like

Yet lose ourselves with every swipe and bite.
