Is It Wrong?

Is it wrong that I thought about you? Is it wrong that I wrote this for you?

Is it wrong that I thought about her lips?

Is it wrong

That I thought about

Their lips

The curves

Dips

And lines

The way they bite them

While they think

And chew

Chew

When they’re nervous

The way their hands

Glided over mine

Completing

What wasn’t whole

But felt perfect enough

To last forever

Attraction

That I couldn't explain

Lust

For something new

I wanted them

Is that so wrong?

Silenced

In chains

Aching

Arching

Reaching

For understanding

That escaped me

Captivated

By much more than

I can even put into words

Divine

More beautiful than their creator

Centered by the thought

That maybe

They felt the same

And she did

But I wasn’t ready for her

heartbreak
