Is It Me

verse 2

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

they want the glory but don’t want the grind

want the applause but can’t handle the climb

I been the one who stayed when it was cold

who turned the pain into pure gold

now they all claim they was always down

but I remember who was never around

I keep my circle small, my vision stays big

I let the money talk, I let the haters dig

every loss was just another lesson learned

every bridge burned just another turn

I don’t need the fake love or the applause

I just need the real ones when the curtain falls
