I'm anticipating,
Sleigh bells ringing,
Snow falling,
Lights twinkling,
Present wrapping,
Turkey Roasting,
Lots of baking,
Choirs singing,
Children playing,
Everybody dancing,
Christmas movies on the big screen.
Lots of cheer,
Lots of laughter,
Lots of happiness,
And no more sadness.
Decorating the tree,
Smiling with glee,
Bringing in the good times,
Treasuring times gone by.
Is it Christmas yet?
I really do ask,
I'd like it to come fast,
The world will light up at last.
Is it Christmas yet, please?
This is my one wish for the year,
To let the good in,
And finally let the bad out.
Is it Christmas yet?
I know I have to wait;
Though,
I'd like it to be so.
