Inside Out There

An Acrostic Sonnet

Inside the hollows of a thought gone dark

Night enveloping it with mystery

Sensibly to the advent of a spark

Inner ramblings and future history

Driving it unconsciously to the bend

Enabling it to linger before pain

Outperforms any other latent end

Underpinning an unexpected gain

To you I dedicate these silly rhymes

There to be examined like a patient

Having sampled some of life’s standard crimes

Excrement-filled days and nights as facient

Reminding of worse happenings before

Each mind was made to never see the door
