Inner like the sea

attendance is stagnant

By Kisama Riyo Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

My absence from you kills my presence.

And my closeness to you keeps me away for months.

And feelings tear me apart in my coldness.

And her feelings ignite a feeling inside me

And when I am absent from the meters of poetry

As if I have been absent from my being for ages

If I do not say what I hope for

Feelings explode inside me like seas

Some letters come to my imagination

And weave for me rhymes and chests

And awaken what has slept for a long time

And that awakening generates light

If the meanings of the meters fail one day

Then the imaginations will spread them

If poetry has no meaning

The flowers will not exude fragrance

And poems will not find an ear to listen

To it... So no proud meter is seen

If nothing remains for poets

Then what they inherited has met with aversion

sad poetry
