Inky Tears

No verse in her head

Inky Tears

A page so white, a story untold,

Ink spills secrets, dark and bold.

Crying drops, they stain, they smear,

Inky tears fall, raw and clear.

She tried to write, verse has gone,

Not a poem there for anyone.

Head now blank, empty, sad,

She throws the pen; she feels bad.

Who knows if words will come back,

Will inspiration ignite from lack?

In the depths of her weary heart,

She seeks a spark, a brand new start.

With whispered hopes in the silent night,

She yearns for verses, to make things right.

A gentle spirit, please hear her plea,

And make her thoughts into poetry.

The ink may flow, the magic return,

As bright ideas within her burn.

For every tear brings a chance to rise,

And with each word, her spirit will shine.
