Indigotic
The hue that yearns for its own place in the world.

How can a hue so
True, and all alone
Have such a close blow
With blue, like a clone?
Indigo is a
Color that seeks its
Identity. Stay
With it in all bits.
It needs guidance for
Navigating all
Of the beauty more
Ready to enthrall.
It paints with the dye
That it offers to
Man. A deep blue eye
Can sense but a few.
It can detect some
Blueberries that snap
And bleed the juice from
Indigo’s hale lap.
The health filled, clean hue
Plans to hold all of
A great one’s mind, too.
The deep blue is love.
