To be taught
And a message to be heard
You, normally living day-to-day
Big time careers
Fancy sporting places
Dreamy vacations
Lovely family
Not even a time of bother
Such is a wonderful life
Me, normally living a day at a time
Punch in, punch out
Worries of stability
For an everyday thing
Stacking thy paper
In which I call it
Or for others
A type of hustle
Now...
Imagine one on either side
Faithful encounters
Personalities array
Tension arising
A sensitive awareness of others
Is whats opposite
From a title alone

Perfect Little Pirate
The rough, sodden rope bit into her fingers as she swung over the roiling water far below. Reaching out with the toe of her boot, she managed to catch hold of the rain-soaked railing of the ship- and promptly slipped. Throwing herself forward, she landed hard on the deck, slamming her elbows against the wood planks. The sharp yelp of pain quickly bubbled into a laugh, and she rolled onto her back, laughing up at the gray sky as a torrent of rain washed away the soot covering her skin.
