In These Shadows
What the Ink Reveals

Certain shadows exist to obscure the parts I wish to hide.
The parts lost to my mind’s eye.
The parts I know others could see.
Parts they need no permission to see.
And in hiding within shadows, somehow I am dyed in mystery.
But how can I hide when my mind is brighter than these shadows?
How can I hide when my thoughts are louder… than these shadows?
Such is the risk of pouring ink onto paper.
