Memories.

Remembering hurts,

Forgetting breaks.

Once upon a time, I only wished to forget.

Today, I hope I could remember.

Many times I have heard my heart screaming for a break.

Years ago, it became mute.

Wishing to forget what hurts,

Doesn’t bring peace to the mind.

Remembering what was,

Makes you feel alive.

I was young,

Life wasn’t fair, and

Nobody told me that’s the way it is.

I grew older,

I know.

Life and memories are what they are supposed to be.

Lost souls are never found because they don’t know where they belonged.

I don’t know where I belong.
