Lost in Memories

A labyrinth of cobblestone streets, my thoughts entwine,

Each twist and turn a memory, etched on this heart of mine.

Your laughter, a ghost echoing in the breeze,

A phantom touch, carried on moonlit seas.

Each azulejo tile reflects a shattered scene,

Of stolen glances, and what might have been.

Doors stand ajar, beckoning to the past,

But fear of shadows keeps me moving fast.

Will I ever escape this maze of regret?

Or forever wander, my heart forever beset?

Each step echoes with the silence you left behind,

A love story unfinished, forever confined.

Yet, a flicker of hope ignites in the distance,

A whisper of strength, a chance for resistance.

For even in labyrinths, paths unfold anew,

Leading out of darkness, to skies ever blue.
