Things

They are so bleak

Nothing as it seems

No peace for us to seek

It may have always been this way

A violent eternity for all

Nothing good

But you must stand tall

Do not give in to the instincts of the dark

It's all meant to play out this way

Rise above the primal feelings

And fight the darkness this day

The tide is rising

Building up across the land

For this is meant to be

It's something long ago planned

Need not worry about the outcome of it all

Live in ways you can admire you

Be proud of what you did

And hold faith you'll make it through

You stepped onto the field

With such promise and ideals

Never expecting in your time

You'd hear the breaking of the seals

If this is the darkness

Encroaching upon all man

See it for what it is

Do what one can

The end may be near

But you've still got plays to make

Push forward without hesitation

Grabbing each chance you need to take

Do not go down with foolish regret

But be forceful when you need to

You only have one life to live

Winning the endgame is up to you
