I loved them with a heart unmasked,
THEY wore smiles like borrowed pasts.
.
I gave balm and bravery whole,
THEY just leaned and left me cold.
.
I arrived with moonlit grace,
THEY vanished—no final embrace.
.
I was rain, a steady stream,
THEY were smoke inside a dream.
.
I stood still as silence grew,
THEY found warmth in someone new.
.
I called—only silence answered,
THEY opened doors to newer names.
.
I offered soul and reverence,
THEY sought ease, not depth.
.
I gave everything—still,
THEY found someone else.
.
I dimmed while they chased light,
THEY danced in suns I birthed from night.
.
I was ribs rehearsed in pain,
THEY took bows in love’s refrain.
.
I held space through every fall,
THEY forgot I gave it all.
.
I was nectar, lullaby,
THEY were weather passing by.
.
I was magic, deep and wide,
THEY chose thrill where hearts can hide.
.
I will scroll through smiles once shared,
THEY will seem like they once cared.
.
I will ache, but still remain,
Not for peace—but strength from pain
.
I will stand—not untouched,
But unbroken, still in bloom.
.
I will remember, NOT erased—
Only faded, softer now.
.
I was love in quiet ink,
I was love THEY could hardly hold.
.
And no matter how much I gave—
In the end, I'd be REPLACED.
