In the dark of dawn

daylight?

By Kisama Riyo Published 2 years ago • 2 min read

In the wings of dawn a bird flew between the branches

And said: I wonder if you, our dreams, have a way to wait

I have nothing left but the songs I wrote and the poems that ended?

With what tune did the songs stop and the strings break?

Why do the birds leave their nests in the warmth of the day?

Why do they fly in the sky and delight us with their songs in the flooding of the rivers?

Why do they sing to our ears and leave us no choice?

Why was the sea sad when it looked at what was in the eyes?

From the tears that drowned in the bottom of the rivers?

Why did our hearts turn into deaf stones that the road betrayed and changed its path?

The voice of groaning inside me now hears its sad voice in the light of day?

And the eye tears and there is no escape from the worries that those fates cast upon it?

My hopes vanished when I took my eyes off it and went on in a collapsing universe?

The accumulation of disappointments in my heart gave birth to a buried anger that is about to explode?

O heart, calm down! Why are you so broken? Persevere and learn perseverance?

Promise me when you achieve success and rain falls from the clouds?

Drops falling from the heights of space wet my hair and leave me in a state of discord?

And the heart takes off its clothes and reveals its secrets

And tomorrow everyone who approaches my ecstasy collapses?

The rustling of trees and flowers calls me waiting for news. And tell me: My friend, is there any benefit in revealing the secrets of fate to me?

My brother, do not make me suffer this collapse, for sadness forced me to collapse

In my soul, the pulse of sadness rises and the bruises of a turbulent night run through my soul?

Do I accept this change in my life or do I change my path?

Tears fall surrounded by sadness and enter a whirlpool that excites them with astonishment

So what is wrong with you, tears, that you do not besiege the forces of colonialism?

Remember who occupied the house and killed the young?

Who arrested the adults and slaughtered my older brothers?

Who tied my hands and threw me in prison with hatred and coercion?
