In the Calmness

Poem to bring in Gatitude and Reminders

In the calmness, you see how abundant you are.

But it was the long nights,

The aching determination that build the flow for abundance to come.

In the calmness, you see your flowers grow.

But it was the knowledge,

The patience weaved in frustration that allowed the flowers to simmer in rich soil.

The hard mornings,

The weak body,

Eyes stinging as sun rays hit them,

Are all things that remind you

you're alive.

Life moves around you,

And though it is difficult to get up when you're mind pulls down,

Just know that the calmness is coming.

Even in the hard moments, calmness never leaves you.

It's a skill that never goes away and can find you,

No matter how disorganized,

Derailed,

Untrained and exhausted you are.

Calmness will find you.
