Along with the soldiers we honor this day
It’s also those heroes in blue
Sheriff’s and State Patrol, we honor this way
As well as the Firefighters too
The thing they’ve in common is tragic itself
This honor’s for after they fall
In a graveyard or crypt, that urn on the shelf
Are the symbols for those who gave all
