How could I ever forget? The battles you fought.

The lessons you taught. The price of blood and bones in which it was bought.

The armor was flesh. Yours was the weapon of choice.

You were brave enough to stand and take that step of a choice.

We rejoice for everything you did and sacrifices you made.

A warrior of life and your will is the debt that was paid.

You didn’t leave the battle unscathed. Don’t forget the paths that were paved.

Some never returned and took their stories to the grave.

Those who live on the battlefield are forever avenging you.

Those of us beyond the war grounds will forever remember you.
