In Daddy's Eyes,
She was a dream come true.
Such a bundle of joy,
A little girl with eyes of baby blue!
Growing as Daddy's Girl,
She was his favorite boy,
Capturing all his attention…
He was hers to control!
Later in life, a struggle to be her own,
Yet still in Daddy's Eyes,
She was not fully grown.
But she tries and tries…
Forever stuck in a world of doubt,
Underneath his thumb.
In a nightmare, with no way out.
Now she is her own,
Not blinded by his lies.
With Eyes of Emerald Green,
Her image is pure and clean..
Tarnished from long ago;
Shown from the reflection
In Daddy's Eyes.
