In Comfort We Trust

A Relaxing Alexandrine

In comfort we trust first, as life can be hectic

A mattress for the gods, pure-cotton sheets to boot

Velvet floors when we dream, bathroom looking smectic

A robotic butler, also playing the flute

Ketogenic gourmet, carbs are not essential

Organic nutrition, tasty treated water

Continuous good health, more than a potential

Watching YouTube footage, a cute river otter

My wife alive again, smiling in the moonlight

Deterministic flaw, happiness recaptured

Every illness beaten, every fright turns alright

Life in the Universe, becoming enraptured

A cat seems to know it, whenever it slumbers

Sleeping in sheer comfort, figuring the numbers
