In Between The Meaning

Poem

By Canuck Scriber Lisa LachapellePublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

There's a yellow kind of limelight peeking through the window

It makes the evening look like dawn

I wonder what it's like to be a willow on the other side of a yawn

I think it would be better than an ego staring back at me

Oh, but for a corner for the air that I breathe, a comforter and a tea

Perhaps a comfort is past the moment

If we can look past the four walls of our beginnings or if we can climb over them then our soul ceases to cry

Yet wandering souls are like hypocrites to their own salvation

Find yourself somewhere in between the meaning
