in a state of perpetual obscurity

a poem

I was designed to get to know lavishly

only the left side of life

while others gain rewards and trophies

I am left with a bitter taste

after this party fed on scraps

the scum from their mouths

which I twist and turn and squeeze

to extract the truth

from this societal disease

they think they are on top of the world

with me left misunderstood

garrulous versus mum

we are on the other side of the river

I’m with my swans, drakes, geese, and tits

they are with moving vehicles

they scream, growl, misbehave

against all rules of humanity

their appearance

is far removed from any human beings

and yet they exist, extrapolate, emanate

with all the brightness bouncing off their bins

everything they do seems

so scurvy

locked in their own world of obscurity

designed to serve their lives

not mine
