In a room without
yesterday
you'd find me
wrapped in
your arms
your safe place
just breathing
each other in
filling our lungs
with dreams
and truth
the honesty
where love lives
and life loves
simple
laid bare
innocent
humble
I don't need protection
but I need a protector
I close my eyes
and I'd find you
wrapped around me
my safe place
in a room without
yesterday.
