I'm Here With You

I see you I feel your pain and I am right here with you

I know you're hurting
I see you
I feel your pain

Life throws rocks at us
Heavy rocks
It blocks our way to the other side

But I am here with you
I see you
I feel your pain

I’m hugging you
I’m holding your hand
Just don’t give up

I wrote this poem because I wish I had someone who would sit with me in the dark during those times. Someone to show me I am not alone, that I can keep going even when times are hard. When I don’t believe in myself, I want someone who does—someone who will stick with me even at my worst, a friend, a shoulder to cry on, just someone who believes in me enough not to give up.
