Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Saying No human, No animal, Nor machine. This month, should Lean. Exert Exert Exert Saying No to a shackling chain, No scream in pain, Nor calling the N name. This month, should Gain! Exert Exert Exert Saying No hating, No separating, Nor water hosing. This month, shouldn't Be loathing. Exert Exert Exert Saying No slavery, No bravery, Nor the lowest of degree. This month, should Be free. Exert Exert Exert If you don't mind my saying... For Black History! Thank you for reading! Which part of the poem resonates with you? Share your thoughts.
