I wish it was me

but you know what they say

" if wishes were horses,

beggars would ride"

there would be hitching posts

at the grocery store

Amazon would sell hay

with same-day delivery

barns would be popping up

everywhere

instead of houses

there would be

horses everywhere.

but I have but one wish

so maybe my knight

would arrive on a

pretty horse.
