Dear eight legged spider sitting on the little leaf,

Why do you stare at me with those dark eyes?

I'm not food, you know!

You look cute, sitting there,

Curious about the world today,

I could have a conversation with you

anywhere.

Beautiful spider;

Watching me close,

I love seeing your furry body,

But;

Please, stop waving your legs at me!

I know you can't help being an eight

legged wonder,

But your freaking me out,

And I want to run, yonder!

Spider, spider,

If only you didn't have so many legs,

I think I would love you more;

If you wouldn't creep me out!
