If only

If only i had the answer,

to every question known to man.

I would feel like i was godly,

and do as much good with it as i can.

If only i could reach people,

and tell them how i feel,

i could help them with their issues,

and to a place where they could heal.

If only i was invisible,

to hear what people say,

i would know which ones to talk to

and give them the time of day.

If only i was healthy,

in body mind and soul,

i would know the exact ingredients,

to fill my worldly bowl.

If only i could cure all disease ,

to end all suffering, and pain.

as people we would be better,

and i wouldn't need my cane.

If only we all got along,

and had never heard of war,

where people partied in the streets,

and never broke a law.

If only our environment was unscathed,

with no litter, or toxic waste.

Our beaches would be pristine,

and we could wade up to our waist.

If only there were no classes,

and we all werent rich and poor,

just everybody had all that they need,

shelter ,food and more.

If only everyone felt loved,

and valued for being themselves,

to feel like they had been opened,

instead of being boxed up on a shelf.

If only we had the courage,

to follow all of our dreams,

if we dont go through with them,

we wont know what our life means.
