If My Heart Could Speak

Things I Wish I Could Have Said

My heart beats,

Only with the mear thought,

Of the passion that lies within you.

For it be you,

That is the key,

To keep my heart alive.

First,

Quench my thirst,

With nothing but your love.

See,

Not through

Nore past me,

But see within.

Your eyes,

They hold

The light I seek,

Whilst mine

Are filled with pain,

So bleak.

Way beyond,

Depths deeper than deep;

Yet in the shallows,

Lies my soul so weak.

There,

I wait for the spirit of you,

To merge with mine,

So pure and true.

Up we rise,

You saved me from the cold.

Now together,

Our future unfolds.

Let us seal

This love with a kiss,

And live free and peaceful,

On earth in bliss.
