If I…..

November 18,2024

If I get quiet again, know it’s loud in my mind,

Waves crashing inside, yet on the shore I seem kind.

I’m seeking the silence, a refuge from sound,

A place where my spirit can unchain and unbound.

If I get clingy, just know it’s not to confine,

I’m reaching for comfort, a lifeline to mine.

In moments of darkness, I need to feel whole,

To remember I’m loved, not wandering alone in my soul.

If I pull away, know it’s not to deceive—

I’m wrestling with battles too complex to perceive.

In solitude’s shadow, I find strength to stand,

Piecing together a map of who I am.

If I grow distant, it’s the weight of the scars,

Healing from fragments that feel worlds apart.

So hold me with patience, like dawn holds the night,

For even in darkness, I’m seeking the light.
