Moving everywhere

Marching like madness

Creatures that you won't enjoy

Just seems to be more and more

Climbing up and down the walls

Flowing along the floor

Don't think this is for our entertainment

Perhaps trying to cause estrangement

We are not happy about this arrangement

It might interrupt our engagement

They are even gathering on the pavement

Wasn't our idea of a party

Not the likely guests

This bunch of nasty pests

It would be best if they left

Then at least we could get some rest

Not usually a thrill to have to kill

But we were hoping that we could enjoy peace still

I bet that to you they are also a pet peeve

When they are all gone you won't even grieve

But you will be relieved and feel at ease now that you can breathe

So I bet you will be glad to get rid of these

You can have your rest as there is no more threat

The question remains if I leave who will kill all the cockroaches?
