If I Could Disappear

For Just One Day...

If I could for just one hour go cold,

and make you all believe that I was dead,

would you stop and take a minute to say

all the things I'd needed to hear instead?

All the love instead of the cruelty?

All the sympathy instead of the sour?

Would I be able to live without the pain

if I could disappear for just one hour?

They say they never hear you 'til you're gone.

So if I were to go for just a while,

would every cry for help I've made make sense

or would you just keep living in denial?

If I could disappear for just one day,

would you finally hear all I've needed to say?
