If Found I am Lost
A poem by Dylan Solowiejczyk
By Dylan SolowiejczykPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

Hidden behind words he timidly trembles
These words, my true self does not resemble
Layers and layers deep he can be discovered
Alert me if you do
For our meeting is long overdue
The flower sprouted so long ago
I never had the chance to see the roots before they no longer show
Where to? Where from? equally unanswerable
But I'd be kidding myself to say I ponder the former
My environment gets warmer
But I stay the same
For if I shed just one layer
I'm on step closer to him
And from there it is sink or swim
