Identifying Forklifts

Forklifts are not usually colorful

They are there for a job

To lift things that we cannot

Everything must be tracked on a spreadsheet

If highlighted in red

That means it is broken or damaged

Therefore, it must not be used

And a big bill will come for the repairs

If the forklift is yellow

Find it somewhere else

You could be playing a game of "Where's Waldo"

As to when it got moved and why

If it is outlined in grey

It has gone back to the owner

The memories that were created

Will never be forgotten

Purple means that the company owns it

It does not have a return by date

We can use whenever we want

Tomorrow, today or never

If colored in blue

It means only short term

Therefore, it has a return time

And it is not good if its late

Green usually means go

But in this case, it means long term rental

The serial number is well known

And the forklift has provided good service

A spreadsheet of many colors

For over 100 forklifts that are used

Across the many accounts and locations

How else would we be able to track them all?
