I WISH I’D LOOKED AFTER MY TEETH
Just a poem written for fun dear readers it’s not true😝🤪

I WISH I’D LOOKED AFTER MY TEETH
Sat here looking in the mirror,
I stare in disbelief,
I smile and can’t believe
The state that’s come to my teeth.
They’re browning and they’re wonky,
And full of little chips,
I can’t believe that’s me teeth gone,
And so have gone me lips.
Surrounded by blobs of paint,
Surrounded by fat,
Oh my God, what a stage in life
I’m suddenly looking at.
I’ve tried Colgate and coconut,
And all the magical cleans,
But nothing seems to be working,
And my teeth just never gleam.
I wish, like Pam Ayres said,
I’d looked after me teeth,
But I didn’t, and now I’m sat here
Picking out little bits of beef.
I wish somebody could help me,
I really don’t want them false,
Maybe I should try cleaning them
With baking soda and salt.
There’s lots of remedies
If you look on the web and the net,
But I’m still sat here in disbelief,
And I’ve not found the answer yet.
Now, to all of my readers
Who think this is my fight,
It’s not — I have beautiful teeth
That I brush every night.
I’ve looked after my teeth
Since God only knows when,
This poem was simply an idea
That travelled from my head to my pen.
When I look in the mirror,
My teeth gleam and shine,
The idea for this poem
Was just an idea of mine. ❤️
