I Will Wrap Myself in Your Arms Till the Day We Die

I will wrap myself inside your arms,

Far away from all the world’s alarms,

Where your heartbeat softly speaks,

And love lives quietly for weeks.

Your hands feel warmer than the sun,

Like every lonely war is done,

And when you pull me close at night,

The dark itself begins to light.

I could listen to your breathing slow,

Like rivers underneath the snow,

Gentle, steady, full of grace,

A peaceful home inside your embrace.

The stars above may fade away,

The flowers wither into gray,

But I will stay beside your soul,

When time forgets to make us whole.

We will grow old beneath the skies,

Still seeing youth inside our eyes,

Still laughing softly in the rain,

Still holding love through every pain.

And when the winter chills our bones,

Or sadness turns our hearts to stone,

I’ll wrap myself around your name,

And love you all the same.

Because forever is not enough,

For hearts that learned enduring love,

And every second spent with you,

Feels honest, endless, bright, and true.

So when the final hour arrives,

And silence stills our fragile lives,

I’ll rest within your arms once more,

And love you even after death’s door.
