When the weight of the world feels too much to bear,

And sorrow wraps tight in its cold, heavy snare,

I will cry, letting tears flow like rain,

To release the burden, to soothe the pain.

In the quiet moments when the heart feels heavy,

When the soul is weary, and the path is unsteady,

I will cry, not in shame, but in release,

Finding solace in tears that bring quiet peace.

For crying is strength, not a sign of defeat,

It’s a way to confront, to admit, to meet

The depths of emotion that words can’t convey,
