I Welcome You All to October
Do you know about October?

The cold breeze passes by
And makes you look back at it
As it twirls into the next chapter
You know the time has come
For the sun to get more sleep
And the moon to stay awake for longer
There are changes in the atmosphere
And there is something beautiful about impermanent moments that will eventually come back
It reminds us that there is a rhythm to life and the biosphere
The streets become spicy
As the leaves turn toasty
While our faces blush from the cooler weather
The leaves know when to fall
Falling ever so gracefully on the ground
Reminding us that letting go is vital for the survivors
Pumpkin spiced lattes set the mood
Warming up your cold hands
The steam comes up and intertwines with the crisp air
Textured stockings, coats and heeled boots are out
The romantic look is what Fall is all about
Falling in love comes easier this time of year
You enter a time when things are quiet and reflective
Everything slows down and it makes you process things
You feel renewed and younger
Apple picking and Halloween
The activities to do are endless
I welcome you all to the best month: October
