I've had my share of trauma and meds,

I've had my share of tantrums,

And I got sick of being in bed.

I've had my share of fear,

And paranioa too,

All brought on by a past

when I met you.

Today is a new day,

A new life has risen in me,

For the shame,

I am finally free.

Back then;

I wasn't who I was supposed to be,

That girl who was afraid,

That girl who cried all day,

That girl who relied on meds,

That girl who stayed in bed,

And;

That girl who never spoke up.

I am who I am, today;

I'm finally free from all that pain,

And;

Good things are on there way!
