I Was Never Meant To Be Ordinary
I love the faster side of life don’t you 😊🌹

I Was Never Meant To Be Ordinary
I was never meant to be ordinary,
I was born with storms beneath my skin,
with a heart that feels too much
and a soul that notices everything,
even the things people try to hide.
I’ve walked through days
where smiling felt like pretending,
where I carried words inside me
that I was too tired to explain,
so I learned to become my own safe place.
I found comfort in the moonlight,
in candles burning quietly,
in writing wishes on bay leaves
and whispering them into the night,
hoping the universe was listening.
I’ve held crystals in my hands
when I needed something to believe in,
not because I think they can fix me,
sometimes we need something beautiful
to remind us that we are still here.
I’ve been called too sensitive,
too emotional, too much,
but they never understood
that feeling deeply
is also how I love deeply.
I’ve lost people I thought would stay,
watched doors close without warning,
and cried over things
I pretended didn’t matter,
because sometimes goodbye
leaves no explanation.
But every ending changed me,
every heartbreak taught me something,
and every tear watered a part of me
that was waiting quietly
to grow again.
So don’t ask me to become smaller
just so someone else feels comfortable.
I have spent too long hiding my light
to make other people feel brighter,
and I won’t do that anymore.
I am strange, I am soft, I am powerful,
I am still healing, still dreaming,
still becoming. And if the world calls that magic,
then let it. Because I was never meant to be ordinary.
