"Echoes of my youth's dark history Haunt me still, a persistent mystery

An Alcoholic's fury, a heart's deep sorrow A heritage of hurt that refuses to borrow Recollections of dread, of anguish, of disgrace Whispers that still summon my name's dark place

A childhood lost, a spirit trapped A heart that struggles to escape the trap The impact of his outbursts, a burden to carry A constant reminder of the anguish he shared freely

The pain of his temper, a wound that won't mend A scar that remains, a heart that still contends I strive to move forward, to leave it all behind But the specters of my past, they linger in my mind

A constant reminder of what I've survived A childhood marred, a soul that's been deprived But still I cling to hope's fragile thread A glimmer of light, a chance to be freed from the dread

From the shackles of my past, from the weight of his legacy A chance to heal, to find my way, to shatter the legacy"
