I try to remain discreet

No one even greets

But I don't want to admit defeat

Continuing to have sore feat

Until night time comes and I look for a place to lie in a heap

Maybe find a little bit of heat

Don't really have anything I can keep

Just have to take care in case of any thief

This is the place where there is no chief

In the morning everyone will be ignoring

Unless I happen to be snoring

Find myself in the place with no glory

I could tell you a story

But you likely don't want to meet

I will just sit and stare at my feet

Every now and then take a peek

Just trying to hide and remain meek

When night time comes it will be on repeat

This is when I walk the streets
