I The Loser Once Again
My college frustration poem
I the loser once again
Walk along this path again
Of failing time and time again
The hope of succeeding never seems to last
Even when others say that the hope is there
Never presents when competition clears
It seems that the sun will never shine
And I will never have my time
Always the reject
Never seems to fail
The past will always dictate
When I try to create the better future trail
Seems so hopeless
Wasting my time on futile dreams
That don’t surprise
The last to be chosen
Never the first
Don’t understand this continuous hurt
Why are there no breaks that success can succeed?
It is impossible to live all my dreams
I don’t understand the plan of this failure
To teach me something out of it all
I wonder why God will not help me at all
When it comes to sports at all
Three times the charm every time
Gets harder every time
When will it be my time?
